Sporting Nebraska Boys' is a part of the National Heartland Conference which competes against teams from Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Nebraska. The U13 & U14 teams plays a fall and a spring season, while the U15-U18/19 will play in the fall season due to high school soccer. Along with league play, teams will attend showcase events throughout the year. They will also compete for a playoff opportunity in June to advance to the ECNL National League Finals.
SNFC will field six ECNL National teams and six ECNL Regional (RL) teams, including U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, and U19, in the Heartland Conference of the ECNL. This conference is compromised of teams in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois.
We will start our ECNL National group ID sessions prior to the formal June tryouts dates we have set. This allows players outside of Sporting Nebraska FC to come in and work with some of our staff and players to get an understanding about who we are and what our club is striving for in the coming year. Our ECNL program continues to grow and thrive as a leading national platform for boy's soccer in our area. As they grow, we grow.
All sessions are FREE and open to any player INCLUDING current ECNL players outside of Sporting Nebraska FC (as of May 1st per the ECNL tryout open date). Our National ECNL teams do not compete in USYS events which allows us the opportunity to hold these events for that level.
PLAYERS WILL NEED TO ALSO REGISTER FOR FORMAL TRYOUTS DURING THE WEEK OF JUNE 3RD. THE BELOW SESSIONS ARE PRELIMINARY TRAINING EVENTS.
